You will find the sculptures of the Parastone Mouseion Collection in paintings of different famous artists or they are replicas of famous scultures, e.g. Hieronymus Bosch and Salvador Dali.

The bird in the blue egg being carried by men on the left of the panel looks like a hoopoe. This ‘crowned’ bird stood for uncleanliness because it didn’t keep a clean nest. In the Middle Ages it also symbolised visiting prostitutes.
